Behind the label Maedchenwahn Illustration stands Izabella Markiewicz - illustrator and designer from Saarbrücken. After she has worked as an interior designer for a couple years she turned her passion for illustration into her new profession. Since 2010 she designs modern, clear and intricate patterns for textile, stationary articles and objects for living as well as bold and humorous illustrations for calenders, art prints or postcards - just to name a few. Her style is clear - atmospherical with minimalistich shapes in modern colors with a touch of vintage.
